Self-represented help

Stay in control, with legal help where it counts.

Self-representation can reduce costs, but it should not mean working without guidance.

Limited-scope legal support.

You can ask Family Law Assist to do a defined part of the work while you manage the parts you are comfortable handling yourself.

That might mean reviewing an affidavit, preparing you for a court event, helping you understand a procedural step, or assisting with documents before filing.

Common support

  • One-off advice consultations.
  • Document checking and editing.
  • Affidavit structure and evidence organisation.
  • Preparation for mediation or court.
  • Help deciding whether a fixed-fee package is better value.
